Can I set an appointment for a same day visit?
We will do our best to assure that any patient who requires immediate care is accommodated. We utilize the skills of women’s health board certified nurse practitioners which enables us to have more scheduling flexibility.
What is the parking situation?
Our office is located in the Parkwest Physicians Plaza, adjacent to Parkwest Medical Center. Free parking is located in front of the building.
What is your payment policy?
Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made with our billing department. If your insurance provider requires a copay this will be collected upon check in, prior to your visit.
At what age should I be concerned with a mammogram?
In accordance with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology guidelines, a baseline mammogram is recommended at age 35 unless personal or family history necessitate an earlier exam.
What options do I have for birth control?
Our office offers the most modern contraceptive methods currently available. Please feel free to contact our office to discuss which option would best suit your personal needs.
What are your office hours?
Our normal business hours are Monday Thru Friday 8am – 4pm. However, Dr Stephen Davis has early hours beginning at 7:30 am Monday thru Friday.
Does your office offer the Gardasil vaccination?
Yes, we offer this service to all of our patients that meet the age criteria (9 – 26 yrs old). However, it is recommended you contact your insurance provider for an explanation of benefit coverage.
At what age should I begin having pap smears?
Our office recommends beginning well woman exams, including pap smears, at age 18 or once sexual activity has begun.
